Our Equipment
Your communications are only as reliable as the equipment carrying them. Which is why we have invested 12 years developing a portfolio of the most dependable, versatile and resilient hardware available. Our partnerships with clients across a range of industry sectors have given us the expertise to advise on the most effective technical solutions, whatever the environment or purpose. From rapidly deployable lightweight antennas to military specification kit built to withstand the harshest conditions and longest assignments with minimal maintenance.
KA SATELLITE MANUAL FLYAWAY SATELLITE BROADCASTING SYSTEM
The bigblu FlyAway Antenna is our most cost-effective solution for mobile broadcasting. We can testify to its reliability and resilience as we designed and manufactured it ourselves.
Deployed in some of the most inhospitable conditions imaginable, its stand is constructed from high grade stainless steel and alloy. The FlyAway is the preferred choice of the MoD as well as several Police Forces, the BBC and the NHS.
Each kit is delivered with dual modems and dual transceivers to give you the backup you need in challenging environments. Our equipment is often deployed in critical situations, so we are the only supplier who, as standard, deliver systems with ‘cold spares’.
The system operates on the satellite Eutelsat KA-SAT as well as other Viasat networks around the world. It gives the fastest broadband possible via satellite which, depending on the package, is up to 50Mbps, with dedicated broadcast transmission rates of up to 10 Mb (simplex or duplex).

MERCURY 75CM AUTOPOINTING KA-BAND ANTENNA
An easy to use autopointing antenna with an innovative design that brings stability without extra weight.
The Mercury 75 system uses an innovative approach to achieve exceptional stability and accuracy in the elevation axis. Conventional systems require a heavily built and expensive drive mechanism to resist wind loads and minimise backlash. Mercury 75Ka uses instead a very strong but compact linear drive. This keeps weight to a minimum but ensures high reliability, a long life, and excellent stability in windy conditions
The small ‘footprint’ and low weight of the antenna make the installation process easy. The antenna may be directly mounted onto a flat vehicle roof or, if preferred, onto roof bars using the optional mounting kit.

COBHAM EXPLORER 8100 KA AUTO-ACQUIRE ANTENNA SYSTEM
Our Cobham auto-acquiring satellite broadcasting solution is recognised as the finest and most accomplished system in its class.
It includes 100% duty cycle, 3-axis lock, Dynamic Pointing Correction technology, 1m antenna, and can be operated for five years between servicing.
Using lessons learned from Cobham’s SATCOM maritime stabilised VSAT antennas, the 8100 offers the most reliable connectivity available in its segment. Its carbon fibre antenna and MIL-SPEC build quality means it can stabilise vehicle movement when broadcasting in high wind or on rough terrain.
The Cobham features industry-leading fast satellite acquisition, with pointing achieved in less than two minutes. It also has built-in Wi-fi and a web-based user interface for easy PC and Smartphone configuration.
The system operates on the satellite Eutelsat KA-SAT as well as other Viasat networks around the world. It offers the fastest broadband possible via Satellite which, depending on the package, offers up to 50Mbps and dedicated broadcast transmission rates of up to 10 Mb (simplex or duplex).

AKD SAT-COMM FLYAWAY KARBON-75 MANUAL ANTENNA SYSTEM
The Karbon-75 is the most compact lightweight high-performance KA Satellite flyaway antenna in the business.
Its deployment can be completed without tools, and by a single person in just 60 seconds. It is ideally suited for Newsgathering and Disaster Recovery services.
The precision engineered 75cm carbon-fibre segmented reflector uses long-life catches to maintain perfect surface accuracy even after repeated deployments.
The reflector segments, E-Tria, tripod mount and the modem backpack all pack into a single padded case. The complete case weighs less than 23kg and complies with current IATA airline luggage regulations. A hard case solution is also available.
The Karbon-75 is equipped with a unique weatherproof modem box mounted onto the rear of its main reflector petal making it ideal in difficult conditions. The modem box includes v-lock battery mounts for two batteries, long range Wi-Fi system, Surfbeam Pro 2 modem and E-Tria Tranceiver. The tripod uses a precision gimbal mount, making it easy to level and quick to point accurately.
